This is the prototype modeling for the next version of the Mini Kraton Chassis Upgrade Kit. 

Prices are for the pre-order only. Prices will increase once pre-orders close and the kit is release for general sales. 

Just like the first version, this is still a prototype. A couple of things changed between the original design and the final release last time, and the same could happen with this version. The overall design is close, but small details may change before the final kit ships.

I’m about to start pre-orders for this kit, and there will be two versions: the Upgrade Kit, the Builder’s Kit and the Standard Kit.

The Upgrade Kit is the most affordable option and just includes the chassis, top brace, and skid plates that are needed to convert your V1 chassis to the the Carbon Fiber version. No digital 3D files are included with this kit. 

The Builder’s Kit is intended for people who own 3D printers and would like to be apart of the manufacturing process. They will have access to the 3D files to print their own parts if they break. It will not include the 3D Printed bulkheads, mudguards, motor mount, etc... but will come with the files. You save me time by not building the bulkheads, and I'll save you some money on the cost of the kit. It's a win-win. 

The Standard Kit will cost the most because it includes the bulkheads. After the first run, I learned how much time and work goes into printing, preparing, and finishing bulkheads. Because of that, the Standard Kit will also take a little longer to ship.

The Builder’s Kit will ship faster because it requires little to no prep. It is mostly packaging and shipping.

Accessories like the Full Size servo mount and Shock Towers are not included. They will be sold separately while supplies last.

CAUTION / CAVEAT: This is not the same type of pre-order as the current version of the kit. The current pre-ordered kits are already built and are in the mail on their way to Texas for order fulfillment.

This new version is an initial investment pre-order, basically crowdfunding, to raise the funds needed to have all of the parts made. This is the same thing I did a few months ago when the first kit came out.

The rough timeline is:One month for production, one month for shipping, and one month for building/prep.

That timeline is not guaranteed. It could shift earlier or later depending on the number of orders, production timing, shipping, and logistics.

Refunds - for project failure will be given. Refunds for "Changed my mind" "This is taking too long" "etc.. " type reasons will NOT be refunded.
